Terms of service
YeKarlo Family · last updated 25 September 2026
These terms cover your use of the YeKarlo Family app. Using the app means you accept them.
What the app is
YeKarlo Family is a shared record for a household: chores, who does them, what they are worth in the family's own terms, and what has been earned or lost. It is a bookkeeping tool for an agreement between a parent and a child. It is not a bank or a wallet, and does not move money between members of your family.
RC is not money. The unit the app counts in exists only inside your family's record. It has no cash value, cannot be redeemed by us for anything, and cannot be transferred out. If a parent gives a child real money, or an ice cream, or a later bedtime in exchange for credits, that is an arrangement between them. The app only records that it was asked for and what the answer was.
Who may use it
- A parent or guardian sets up a family and is responsible for it.
- A child joins only with a code their parent gives them.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for keeping your sign-in secure.
- Do not use the app to harass, threaten, or demean anyone. It is meant to make a household fairer, not to give anyone a stick.
Fees and billing
The app is free to use for the first 14 days after a member signs in. After that, unlocking that member for good costs a one-time fee of ₹99 — a discounted price, down from the regular ₹199 — charged once per member through Google Play's billing system. It is not a subscription: it does not renew, and does not charge you again.
Google Play processes the fee and holds your payment details. We never see your card. What we get back from Google is confirmation that the purchase went through, and that is what unlocks the member.
Refunds are handled under Google Play's own refund policy, since Google is who took the payment. Start with Google Play support; write to us at naveenvichaar@gmail.com if that does not resolve it and we will help however we can.
What a parent can do
Whoever holds parent permissions in a family can set budgets, decide what each chore is worth, approve or reject work, apply penalties, answer requests to cash credits in, invite people, and remove members. These are real powers over a child's record in the app. They belong to the family, not to us: we do not arbitrate disagreements between a parent and a child about what was fair.
What we provide, and what we do not promise
The app is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, and we test it, but we do not guarantee it will always be up, always be error-free, or never lose data. Do not use it as the only record of anything that genuinely matters to you.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Stopping
You can stop using the app at any time, and delete your account from More → Delete my account, or by writing to naveenvichaar@gmail.com. We may suspend an account that is being used to break these terms or the law. See deleting your account for exactly what happens.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will say so in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
